I think most of the webmasters should be familiar with these 3 world-famous and largest web hosting companies in the industry. As you see, HostGator is already serving over 9.5 million websites and domain names, Bluehost is also serving over 3 million websites, and GoDaddy is providing registration and web hosting service to over 55 million domain names. One web hosting company can host more than 1 million domain names must have something different from others.

HostGator, Bluehost & GoDaddy – Who’s the best web host?

As a new starter, it’s real hard to choose a best web host among these 3 famous hosting firms, since they don’t have any experience with these companies at all. You may have found GoDaddy is the largest domain name registrar and can you say GoDaddy is the best web host? I don’t think so. Yes, I’ve to admit GoDaddy is a real good domain name registrar, but GoDaddy is definitely not a good web hosting choice, because GoDaddy’s customer support response is always much slower than the others and their web servers are having lots of problems. Compared to HostGator & Bluehost, Bluehost is a bit better for the small businesses. If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable web hosting for WordPress, then Bluehost will be a better choice among the 3 hosting companies.

Bluehost has already become one of the largest and world-famous web hosting company in the industry over 14 years. Bluehost launched since 1996 and you can find there are few complaints about their web hosting service, since those guys are professional, and their web servers are much faster and having less issues compared to others.

If you’d like to sign up a new web hosting account, the 1st choice is Bluehost, 2nd is HostGator and the 3rd is GoDaddy!

  1. Very slanted review from someone clearly catering to bluehost’s best interest. Blue host doesn’t have dedicated servers and hostgator is better even on shared.

  2. To sum up, Hostgator is the provider of choice for those who want more flexibility in choosing their pricing and level of technical features (especially websites expecting medium or high traffic in the future), while Bluehost can be recommended for those who want a single headache-free solution with attractive value-for-money offering and a free domain for the taking.
